This Tama (boy) Maori doll is dressed in his piupiu, he is performing kapa haka, the expression on his face is a pukana whētero. Tama has a top knot, piupiu, and mock greenstone necklace around his neck. Dolls are a way for children to learn through play as well as re-enact.
